    Summer Term 2024
    This Summer sees a departure from our normal split term between guest MD and short summer session for Butler's Gap. This year we are running a full term which will include several sessions with guest MDs as well as performance opportunities in the community some of which we have never sung at before!. A full fun filled summer season of singing together and sharing our songs with the unsuspecting public of Hastings!

    We will be singing feel good summer songs from the 60's, 70's & 80's as well as hanging on to some of our favourites from last term. Songs will be going up under the heading SUMMER SEASON this week. 

    This will be a very relaxed term. Participation in any of the events is not compulsory so please don't let holiday dates etc stop you from signing up. 
    First session Tues 14th May

    This is what we have planned so far:-
    Public Sing Outs
    Fri 14th June 2.30pm Old Hastings House singing to residents
    Sun 23rd June 2.30pm Sanctuary Festival at Hastings Museum
    Sat 13th July St Leonards Festival in Warrior Square Gardens 
    Thurs 8th Aug Butler's Gap our annual sing out as part of Old Town Carnival Week usually around 6.30/7pm

    Guest MDs in different genres every two or three weeks:-
    Tues 4th June Oscar Smith - musical theatre 
    Tues 25th June Susannah Appleyard - classical 
    Tues 16th July Chan Reid - folk

    Term Dates: Tuesdays from 14th May to 6th Aug inclusive
    NB no half term break 

    Cost: 13 sessions @ £5 = £65
     
    NB You register by responding to the availability request below. Select 'I will be attending' to register and then click the Update button. You will then be sent an invoice by email with payment details.
    It is still possible to pay in two installments of £32.50 at the start of each half term but your invoice will not be marked as paid until the balance has been paid in full.
    You can also still pay by cheque payable to Sound Waves Community Choir
