Summer Term 2025
We will be meeting together to sing through the summer leading up to our annual sing out in Butler's Gap in August during Old Town Carnival Week. Along the way we have some exciting performance opportunities including singing in a Victorian walled garden in the middle of Summerfields Woods and along the race track for the Race for Life in Alexandra Park. We also hope to take part in St Leonards Festival again singing on the main stage in Warrior Square Gardens. You can take part in as many or few events during this term as you want - there is no pressure to attend the sing outs but they are usually jolly good fun!
We will initially be holding on to most of our Spring Term repertoire as our first sing out is Sun 8th June - our first week back! We will also be bringing back some favourites from our back catalogue - starting with Sweet Caroline and Dancing in the Street - as well as introducing some new songs as the term goes on.
First session is Tues 3rd June
Term Dates: Tuesdays from 3rd June to 5th August inclusive
NB no mid term break

Sun 8th June RACE FOR LIFE at Alexandra Park between 10am and 12pm
Sun 29th June BOHEMIA WALLED GARDEN Summer Open Day in Summerfields Woods at 1pm
Sat 12th July ST LEONARDS FESTIVAL at Warrior Square Gardens TBC - looks like our application to perform has been successful and we are just waiting on the time for our performance slot on the main stage
Thurs 7th Aug BUTLER'S GAP as part of the Old Town Carnival Week time TBC but usually early evening around 6.30pm/7pm
Cost: 10 sessions @ £5 = £50
NB You register by responding to the availability request below. Select 'I will be attending' to register and then click the Update button. You will then be sent an invoice by email with payment details.
It is still possible to pay in two installments of £25 at the start of each half term but your invoice will not be marked as paid until the balance has been paid in full.
You can also still pay by cheque payable to Sound Waves Community Choir
