Our popular local Celtic folk singer, Chan Reid, is back with us. She will be taking us through a selection of upbeat Americana/Appalachian songs having their roots in gospel, Celtic music and early rock & roll, and influenced the likes of Bob Dylan [e.g. Blowing in the Wind], Bill Withers [e.g. Lean on Me], Dolly Parton [e.g. Appalachian Memories] plus many others.
Chan’s jolly and infectious personality will ensure a good time is had by all and be taking us through Americana/Appalachian diction and the confidence to sing without music
Three sessions with breaks in between. Timings as follows:-
10.40am registration
11.00am prompt - Session 1
12pm comfort break - 15 mins
12.15pm - Session 2
1.30pm lunch break - 45 mins
2.15pm – Session 3
3.30 to 4pm finish
