Our first meeting will be on Tuesday 8th September, from 7.30 to 9.30, at our venue in Ledsham Park, St Leonards-on-sea.
Term dates:
Tuesday 8th September to Tuesday 15th December with half term break on 27th October.
Performance opportunities:
We have a packed agenda, including the following:
10th October. The Big Sing at St John's church, St Leonards-on-sea, in support of St Michael's Hospice. We will be singing at 3pm.
5th December. The Seaview concert at St John's church. We will be singing at 5pm.
18th December. “Sound Waves Christmas Top Ten” concert at All Saints‘ church in the Old Town, which starts at 7.30pm.
More details of each of these events are on the website. Members are welcome to sing at all of these performances; at one or two of them or, indeed, at none of them. No pressure, it is entirely up to you.
We are also having a Sea Shanty Workshop sometime in October; details will be posted on website.
We look forward to seeing your happy faces, old and new, in September. The first session is free for potential new members. Try before you buy!
Payment details:
Cost: 14 sessions at £6 = £84.
You register by responding to the availability request below. Select 'I will be attending' to register and then click the Update button. You will then be sent an invoice by email with payment details.
It is still possible to pay in two instalments of £42 at the start and at half term but your invoice will not be marked as paid until the balance has been paid in full.
You can also still pay by cheque payable to Sound Waves Community Choir.
If you want to have your music printed for you please add £12 to your payment and send an email to events@soundwaveschoir.org.uk informing them of your requirement [it is important that you do this so that we know who to print copies for].
